Our Policies
Payment & Deposits
Services are to be paid by end of the day. In the event of a late payment, a $10/day fee will occur. If payment is not received within 7 days, further action will be taken. Forms of payment accepted are Cash, Venmo, or Zelle. Upon scheduling of a one time cleaning service, a 20% deposit will be required. The deposit is non-refundable if the service is cancelled, however, will be credited toward a rescheduled date. (Venmo: @mariahmichaud)
Cancellation & Rescheduling
24 hours notice of cancellation/rescheduling is asked. If cancellation of services is recurrent, a nonrefundable 50% deposit when scheduling will be required going forward. There will be times of illnesses, school closures, bad weather, etc. If a service can not be performed on the date scheduled, it will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
Minimum Rate Of Services
There is a minimum rate of $100 for any service that brings the contractor into the home.
Added Services
Additional services requested outside of the agreement will result in additional fees per request. Scheduling is based off the agreement, size of home, and location. The request may or may not be denied, depending on availability. If you have a request, the sooner you communicate it, we can try our hardest to accommodate your needs. For households with children, it is most beneficial to have toys tidied as best as possible to prevent delay of cleaning. If you would like tidying of toys to be an added service, it will be accommodated and priced accordingly.
Waste Disposal
Disposal of garbage throughout the cleaning will not be removed from the property. Garbage may be taken to an outdoor dumpster or garbage can only.
Work Safety
Service that requires a reach higher than a step stool will be denied.
Large/Heavy furniture and/or appliances will not be moved. If you would like to move the item yourself and move it back, we’d be more then happy to clean behind/under the item.
In the event of bed bugs, services will be suspended until proof of extinction.
Pets are asked to be put in a part of the home not being cleaned if they become in the way, unfriendly, or disruptive at any point during the service.
Denied services may include the cleaning of walls/ceilings, antiques, highly breakable and unstable items, bodily fluids, feces, large amounts of mold, fire places, and television screens.
Please be mindful of the weather and time of year and have your home at a reasonable temperature during the time of services.
Complaints & Damages
Please address complaints within 24 hours of the services with photos. The situation will be handled appropriately. In the event of something being damaged, it is to be brought to the attention of the cleaner or the home owner immediately or within 48 hours of the service with photos.
Routine Cleanings
Weekly and bi-weekly cleanings will be scheduled at a month’s time. All other services are to schedule the following services on the day of each cleaning. This secures and prioritizes your cleanings and prevents the scheduling of other clients during your desired slots. The start time scheduled of services will be a two hour window in the event an unexpected delay.
Termination of Services
If either party decides to terminate services, a 7 day written notice must be provided via email or letter. In the event of a cancellation of a service within 24 hours that will not be rescheduled, 50% of the total service will be required.
Changing of Services
If you’d like to make a change to the services you receive a 14 day notice is recommended in order to be given guarantee. Redetermination of price may also occur.
Photos/Videos
Before & After photos are sometimes taken to document or promote work. Personal information that identifies you, your family, or where you live will never be disclosed. If you do not wish photos within your home to be advertised, please address this at the time of signing.
Service Agreement
The signage of a service agreement is required upon the day of beginning of services or before and will only need to be completed once per client.
